Ephicas was invited to present the SideWing in the stand of Tip Trailer services at the Carrosserie Vakdagen Gorinchem 30 August until 1st of September.

August 19th untill 21th Ephicas tested several aerodynamic devices in cooperation with TIP trailer services and DAF. During this three day test at the test circuit of RDW in Lelystad, the fuel reduction of the SideWing on curtain slider trailers, 3-d vanes at the backside of a trailer, aerodynamic mudflaps and a spoiler system were measured. Ephicas wants to thanks all testpartners for their contribution.

Ephicas presented the Ephicas SideWing for truck trailers to the EU Commisioner of Research
Innovation and Science Maire Geoghehan-Quinn and State Secretary education culture and science
Halbe Zijlstra during a working visit to the TU Delft and YES!Delft. They both were very interested in the
saving potential of 5% to 10% CO2 reduction in combination with an earn back period of 1-2 year for the
fleet owner.
